NO, an account has already been created for them. Sign-in instructions, including the username and temporary password, are sent to the employee via email. If they do not have an email they can sign into the Plata Pay™ app by using their phone number by using the following steps.
1. On the ‘Sign In’ screen click on ‘Use Phone Number Instead.”
2. Enter the 10-digit phone number and leave the password field blank.
3. Click on “Reset Password.”
4. A temporary code will be texted to their phone.
5. Enter the code number in the password field.
6. Click on the “SIGN IN” button.
7. Change their password to a personal password as prompted.
